Comparison
Salvo vs Tsenta
Tsenta is a subscription tool that submits job applications through supported ATS platforms for a set number of applications per month. Salvo is a free service that applies for you with a resume rewritten for each job. Both aim to cut down the manual work of applying, but the pricing and what counts as a result differ.

What we saw inside a Tsenta account
Seen in a Tsenta account on 2026-10-16. We looked at these screens ourselves.
- The free plan counter showed 21 applications left after 4 applications, so the free plan is 25 applications.
- On the free plan you press Apply on each job, or "Apply to all 5" on the top matches.
- Auto Apply, where Tsenta keeps applying on its own, sits behind an "Upgrade to Power" button.
- Auto Apply has one shared daily cap of 10 applications a day. Every search lane draws from that one budget.
- Networking finds the top 3 contacts at a company, with 10 lookups a day. In our account none of the 3 had a checked email, so Tsenta drafted LinkedIn notes for us to send ourselves.
- When we asked its assistant to send emails, it said it cannot send emails yet.
- The cover letter on the profile page opened "Dear Hiring Manager" and named no company and no job.
- Tsenta also gives each user an inbox address for applications, with an option to connect Gmail or Outlook.
How Salvo differs
- Salvo applies for you in the background on the free plan. There is no Apply button to press for each job.
- Salvo sends recruiter mail for you, from your own Salvo address.
- Salvo writes a cover letter for each job.
When Tsenta may suit you
Tsenta can suit someone who wants a fixed monthly application volume and is comfortable reviewing each tailored resume before it goes out. The tiered application caps also give a predictable ceiling on how many jobs get applied to in a given month.
